Mirror in Dreams

Mirror appears in dreams as a compact instrument of agency. It is not merely a thing but a capacity made visible: self-encounter, image, distortion, and the uncomfortable fact of being seen by one's own psyche. Objects in dreams often feel disproportionately important because they gather action, memory and consequence into something the hand can hold. The question is never only what the mirror is, but what it allows, refuses, hides, protects or makes possible.
